During the summer of 2011 the ArtLinks initiative was the subject of an evaluation and strategic planning process. The purpose of the evaluation process was to provide a review of ArtLinks to look at how best the ArtLinks supports should be developed for the future.

The outcome of the process, which included artists’ feedback and engagement, has provided a clear path for the ongoing development of ArtLinks responding to the needs of professional and emerging artists in the five participating Local Authority regions who support the programme. In addition as part of this review process we have undertaken to redevelop the ArtLinks website which we anticipate will be live by in May 2012.

ArtLinks will continue to provide supports including bursaries and mentoring for its members and information regarding these supports will be made available through the ArtLinks website in the coming weeks. It will be necessary to refresh your membership so that you can access the full range of services and opportunities provided as part of the programme.
