Members - Posting your Events, Notices, Press Releases?

As ArtLinks now has over 1500+ members, please do not email press releases or other information to info@artlinks.ie but logon to the ArtLinks website and upload your own Event/Course notices and Press releases, PDF invites etc onto the Events Calendar/News Page and or Noticeboard/Forum

The ArtLinks site has been designed to enable members to register and logon to promote their own work, events, gigs and courses. Thank you.

Frequently asked Questions?

• Help, I ve forgotton my username/password
  
  Please note the username/password are case sensitive, so do check that you havent got you your Caps Lock key on. There is also Forgotten Password link on the Homepage where you login. Do remember, that this relies on using the email that you set the ArtLinks page with.
  
  
• Help, my image is appearing too large on my Profile page or on the Event Calendar/News page!
  
  You have uploaded an image whose file size is too large. You cannnot delete images but you can upload a smaller image file and this will replace the image that is too large (If you are using Microsoft on your computer you will find you will have a simple image editor programme, Microsoft Office Picture Manager that you can use to reduce your image files). Remember after you have uploaded your smaller sized image file that you need to refresh your web page.
  
  Images for the web should be at 72 dpi and less than 500kb
  
  
• I m not resident in one of the 5 ArtLinks participating Local Authority areas but I want to be kept informed of Art news & opportunities in the South East?

• Where should I place my Event/Exhibition Notice/Press Release?
  
  Members; Place your event/exhibition information on the ArtLinks Calendar, you can also attach a Word/PDF press release/invite
  
  Arts Offices: Place press releases about Events or Opportunites/Awards and information from other National Arts Organisations on the ArtLinks News page
  
  Tip: if you put your event/course on the Forum, it will appear on the Home page and be more visible - you could create a link from the Forum back to your ArtLinks Profile page / your own website for more information.
  
  
  Add information on Courses, Volunteers needed, studio letting, equipment wanted or for sale etc to the ArtLinks Noticeboard and or the ArtLinks Forum
  
  The more places you put your notice on the site, the more exposure you will gain. Some members are beginning to post notices on both the Events calendar and the Forum for maximum effect.

Note ArtLinks information if sent by post is sent from your County Arts Office, so  do please inform them (and update your  info on your  ArtLinks page), if you change address, email or if are receiving too many brochures etc.
